Ok, I don’t feel bad at all about the 36 minutes it took to down 4 bites of salad. Yes, it was drenched in dressing and yes I was timing her!!

As a younger sibling of yours who loves you dearly, I will respectively refrain from any name calling. I do agree that it is a lesson that needs to be taught. You have to listen, not be wasteful and accept whatever consequences result from your actions. Since this is expected in the adult realm, it makes perfect sense to instill it when one is a child. As I am sure you know by now, sometimes others just aren’t going to agree with your methods of discipline and teaching of lessons. However, you are not beating or belittling your children and so I would say your way of handling things is perfectly sensible. I love you.
