Our First Month of Homeschooling, Complete

Over the last couple of days the girls and I have been gathering their school work to organize it and turn it in. Today is the moment of truth. It’s been a challenging first month. They’ve done a good job of sitting down and working and they are always wanting to know what’s next and how to stay on task. It’s been a juggling act for me. I’m confident that we will keep plugging along and that they will both have a successful year. But, I will admit that it’s a big task. With determination and prayer, we will get it done!

Tierney just enrolled in Valley Oaks Charter here.
Seems a good program you can follow thier curriculum, supplement or create your own. They also offer $45 a mo. for an enrichment class, cool, she wants ballet and Gymnastics… We’ll see.
i am enjoying homschooling. i think i love the asthetics a bit more than the actual teaching. As i showed in pics, we painted oue school sign and the door. So fun! Our downstairs room is now the class room.
This is a challenge, but they’ll keep records and do testing so that’s a bit of the stress off of me. with the two younger along for the ride.
Great to hear of your success. Though i know you’ve done this before, continued prayer.
