2 Kristen West McGuire { 01.24.10 at 2:39 am }: seems like the dog needs a therapist. Or, maybe, a kick in the snout everytime he starts digging…well, I guess that would be mean. I wonder how much for a session with a “dog whisperer?”

By looking at what is already there, I would use one of the paver tiles and dig/push it down vertically so it extends the barrier of the cement slab (pretty much in the hole that the dog already dug). Then I would get a metal kick plate for the bottom of the door, or some type of wire mesh.
